INEC To Train 15million haduck staff
As political party’s prepare for there campaign towards the 2023 general elections, INEC has announced that they are going to train 15million adhoc staff and 17,700 electoral officers.
INEC is an independent electoral body, that conducts the election across the 36 states in Nigeria.
Earlier INEC chairman announced that all political parties should begin there campaign on the 28th of September 2022.
The People’s Democratic Party presidential candidate Atiku Abubaka has appreciated the efforts of INEC and demanded that it should be transparent.
As you may know Atiku was the PDP presidential candidate during the 2009 general elections were he lost to the sitting president General Mohamadu Buhari.
Atiku and the Governor of Rivers State are yet to reconcile. Wike said the chairman of the party Ayu, has earlier said the he was going to resign if Atiku becomes the presidential candidate.
According to Wike, the north cannot have all positions to themselves.
The refusal of the party chairman to resign after Atiku got the presidential ticket has caused the party to have factions. Part of the factions supports wike. And the other part are for Atiku.
One of the strong Allies of Wike, who is Gov Utom, on Tuesday, took his loyalty back to the presidential candidate of PDP, agreeing to what Atiku has earlier said,
“I have no right to dethrone Ayu. If you want Ayu to resign, he should resign, but don’t make this look like it is all by my policy.
Peter Obi who is the presidential candidate of Labour Party, has called for unity across the 36 states the election is going to be conducted. He made this known during there parties caucus meeting in Abuja.
Peter Obi who has gained so many loyalties across the social platforms, believes that Labour Party is going to win the presidential election come 2023.
He appreciated INEC for rolling out staffs that will undergo proper training for the election.
This will properly equip the staffs and a good orientation to conduct a credible election.
