118 year old woman appointed as special adviser in Bayelsa State 


A 118-year-old woman has been appointed as special adviser in Bayelsa State, Kolokuma/Opokuwa Local government. 

Her appointment which has generated a lot of reactions on social platforms. Some Twitter users said, she is too old to be appointed adviser. Her both eyes are too dime, so how can she read and write at her old age. 

The 118-year-old woman, Mrs. Omonigbalebo Dani Orogono, was appointed as the special adviser on Elder Matters to the vice chairman of Kolokuma/Opokuma LGA in Bayelsa state, to help overseas the affairs of the Local government 

She was offered a provisional appointment letter on the 4th of February, 2020 and her appointment was with immediate effect.



The copy of her appointment letter was signed by Bedford Ineye, the Vice chairmant of the LGA.
